Digital Life Certificate for Social Security Pensioners
The National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Government of India that provides financial assistance to the elderly, widows and persons with disabilities in the form of social pensions for persons Below Poverty
Line. The NSAP is implemented in the States/UTs in accordance with the general conditions applicable to all components as well as specific condition applicable to each component of NSAP. The pension schemes under NSAP are
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS), Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS), Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)
Digital Life Certificate (DLC) for Social Security Pensioners proposes to issue a Digital Life Certificate to social security pensioners (SSP) which shall serve as proof of their being alive. The DLC thus generated shall be shared with the implementing
agency i.e the department implementing the social security pension scheme.
It is a Aadhaar-based digital service which uses the Aadhaar ecosystem for biometric authentication of
the beneficiary.

1. Requirements
Download and Install SSP-DLC APP.
Install UIDAI FaceRD Service for Face Authentication.
Provide necessary information like Aadhaar number and your Mobile number. -
2. NSAP Verification
Online Verification of Aadhaar Number with NSAP Databse.

3. OTP Verification
After a successful NSAP verification OTP will be generated and validated.

4. Aadhaar Bio-metric Authentication
Bio-metric of the pensioner will be captured and authenicated through UIDAI.

5. Access Your Certificate
You can download a PDF copy of the certificate from the https://sspdlc.nic.in
website by providing the Pramaan ID. -
6. Pension Disbursing Agency
The Pension Disbursing Agency can access the Life Certificate from the Jeevan Pramaan website, and download the same.

7. Electronic Delivery
The Life Certificates can also be electronically delivered to the Pension Processing Agency, without any manual intervention.
